CREATION AND RECOGNITION

In his work, Ondřej Tkačík focuses primarily on the landscape, which he processes within thematic cycles, such as Prisma, Z jeskyně, Červený dům, Krajina se slovy či Pod nebem, pod mrakem. In parallel, he is engaged in open cycles of birds and heads, which develop the motif of identity and the relationship of man to nature. His works have been presented at a number of solo and group exhibitions, especially in Ostrava, Hlučín and Prague, including in the Mlejn Gallery, the Půda Gallery or the Gallery of Contemporary Painting in the Antonín Dvořák Theatre. Tkačík participated in shows Otevřené ateliéry and his work is represented in private collections in the Czech Republic and abroad.
